Sem P 4mg/3ml Prefilled Injection Pens contain Semaglutide, a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It mimics the human GLP-1 hormone to enhance glucose-dependent insulin release from pancreatic beta cells, suppress glucagon secretion, and delay gastric emptying, providing robust glycemic regulation and cardiovascular risk reduction in diabetic patients.

Purpose

Used to manage blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events.

Warnings

Administer exclusively by subcutaneous injection once a week on the same day each week.

Discontinue immediately and seek urgent medical care if severe, persistent abdominal pain with or without vomiting occurs.

Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetic retinopathy, severe renal impairment, or gastrointestinal disease.

Never share an injection pen between patients, even if the needle is changed, to avoid cross-contamination.

Storage Instructions

Store unused pens in a refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C; store the in-use pen below 30°C or in a refrigerator for up to 56 days. Protect from freezing and light.
