Tromol 30mg (5 Injection / Pack) is a potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug solution formulated with ketorolac tromethamine for short-term pain management. It works by non-selectively blocking cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2 enzymes, thereby preventing the synthesis of peripheral prostaglandins that mediate pain signaling and inflammation. It is administered via intramuscular or intravenous routes in clinical environments to provide rapid, high-intensity pain control.

Warnings

Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, or advanced renal impairment. Total treatment duration must strictly never exceed five consecutive days to minimize the risk of serious systemic toxicity. Use with extreme caution in individuals with controlled hypertension or a history of congestive cardiovascular complications. Do not mix or administer concurrently with other systemic NSAIDs, aspirin, or oral anticoagulants like warfarin.

Side Effects

Gastrointestinal distress including nausea, dyspepsia, epigastric pain, or occult gastrointestinal bleeding. Central nervous system effects such as dizziness, somnolence, sweating, or a persistent headache. Localized pain, swelling, or minor bruising at the site of intramuscular or intravenous injection. Fluid retention, which may manifest as mild peripheral edema or elevated blood pressure readings.
