Zeptide 2.5mg/0.5ml contains Tirzepatide, a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It works by regulating blood sugar levels, slowing gastric emptying, and reducing appetite to significantly improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Purpose
Used to manage blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus alongside diet and exercise.

Warnings
Administer strictly via subcutaneous injection once weekly in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm; never inject intravenously or intramuscularly.
Contraindicated in patients with a personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
Monitor closely for signs of acute pancreatitis, severe persistent abdominal pain, or acute gallbladder disease.
Avoid use in patients with severe gastrointestinal diseases, including severe gastroparesis or inflammatory bowel issues.
Side Effects
Gastrointestinal disturbances including moderate nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Decreased appetite, indigestion, constipation, or localized abdominal pain.
Transient injection site reactions including mild redness, itching, or minor discomfort.
Hypoglycemia when co-administered with pancreatic insulin secretagogues or insulin.
