Rast 20mg contains Rosuvastatin, a statin medication used to lower elevated levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL cholesterol. It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. Rosca is prescribed as part of a treatment plan that includes diet and lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. It is intended for adults with dyslipidaemia or those at risk of heart disease.

Side Effects

Common side effects include headache, muscle aches, abdominal pain, nausea and weakness. Rarely, it can cause severe muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis) or liver enzyme abnormalities. Seek medical attention if unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness occurs.
