Enalapril is an ACE inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. It works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the workload on the heart, which lowers blood pressure and improves symptoms of heart failure. It is usually taken once or twice daily. Regular blood pressure and kidney function monitoring is recommended during treatment.
