Daprostat is a hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF-PH) inhibitor. It stimulates the endogenous production of erythropoietin, which increases red blood cell production. It is used to treat anemia associated with chronic kidney disease.

Purpose

It is indicated for treatment of symptomatic anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
